Maybe you have to change the settings to pull your pitchers a little earlier in case the computer leaves them in to long. I have also noticed that if I have 5 starting pitchers on my roster and the game set to a 4 man rotation, the computer will insert the 5th starter in the spot rotation slot. I have also noticed that the pitchers will at times all be tired for no apparent reason. The only way to find out would be to analyze the schedule to see if there were a lot of games in a row or some big blowouts. However, I haven't done this yet.
