Ankit or anyone - I have a question. I started up a league using the AnkitDB for 1998. I noticed an interesting trend - many closers and relievers are converted to starters and wind up as a number 2 or 3 starter. IRL John Wetteland didn't start a game after 1990 and was mostly a full-time closer from 1992 until his career ended in 2000. However in my sim the Rangers converted him to a starter and he's 3rd in the AL in strikeouts. IRL Mike Magnante started 19 of his 484 games, however in my sim Houston converted him to their number 2 starter and he's leading the NL in wins. Ugueth Urbina and Mariano Rivera were also converted into starters. I haven't dug into this deeply to find out what might cause this, but my first suspicion is endurance? Any thoughts or similar results from anyone?
