Denmark HW
Carl Nielsen - Denmark
Heavyweight 1946-1950
27 wins / 10 losses / 3 draws / 17 KO
Rating by: Rocco Del Sesto
A busy heavyweight out of Denmark who fought 40 times in just a little over 4 years.
Nielsen fought mainly out of his native Denmark in Copenhagen. Most of those fights were against the mostly unmentionable of Danish boxing. A few names though you will recognize from the game and those rated by others include a draw and a 5 round KO loss to Jo Weidin. He fought stephane Olek twice lossing both times, once in Belgium and once in France. He fought Alberto Santiago Lovell in Barcelona, Spain getting KO'd in 6 by Lovell. He defeated Pierre van Deuren, Alf Brown and Piet Wilde twice. He also beat Robert Eugene but lost by 7th round KO to Kurt Schiegl. His last career fight was against Prosper Beck, whom we'll talk about later.
Enough of names there to make it worth the while rating Nielsen.
