Is there a chance that you just faced harder than usual competition? It may sound weird but in our online league we had a team that played .100 baseball for a month when one contending team played them a whole bunch of times, then they started clicking (thanks to some trades) and they played around .400 baseball when another team played (that should have been a contender but was not).
Did any of that make sense?
