Thanks Malleus Dei.

Do you, or anyone else have a suggestion on when the best year to begin a historical league would be? My idea is to incorporate former Negro League greats into the league with former MLB greats. I have decided to name the league the United Baseball League, with the theme being "breaking the color line." Although the "color line" was officially put into place in 1868, I do not want to start my league that early. I was thinking about starting it around 1925, but after doing a bit more research, it seemed like I should be starting in a year prior to that(around 1911 or so).

So back to my original question, what would be a good year to start the league?

Thanks in advance for any possible suggestions.
