Game Two

Today's game features another great pitching matchup. For Chicago: 29-year-old William Johnston, who went 17-6 in the regular season with a league-leading 1.76 ERA. For Detroit, playoff regular Freddy Medina, who went 23-6 with a 2.57 ERA. Medina has helped break Chicagoans hearts in two previous years, and his 10-2 postseason record shows a large part of the reason for Detroit's reign atop baseball.

The line score for each pitcher pretty much tells the story... Medina showed Johnston how a real clutch pitcher throws. Johnston: 6 IP, 9 H, 0 BB, 5 ER, 4 K. Medina: 8 IP, 3 H, 2 BB, 0 ER, 8 K. Detroit wins 5-0 as Chicago is out-hit 11-4. 38-year-old SS Floyd Caggiano, who only hit 5 homers in 379 regular season AB, deals the big blow with a two-run homer in the 2nd inning against Johnston.

The Series heads to Chicago next, with the Dragons down 2 games.
