American League Championship Series

Cleveland (A) (92-70) blanks Boston (A) (92-70) in 4 games

The Blues repeat as AL champions for the 3rd straight, hoping to win the rubber match vs. the Superbas. Kent Bottenfield cost them a pretty penny in the offseason, but it was money well spent as he powered them past the Americans in Games 1 & 4.

National League Championship Series

Brooklyn (95-67) pulverizes Cincinnati (95-67) in 5 games

This was supposed to be a close series, but Brooklyn makes the Reds look like minorleaguers as their postseason experience serves them well in the sweep. Damian Easley shows surprising power in the 4 games with 3 HR and 7 RBI.
