There are a lot of things that happen in the MLB that would get people to cry foul in a simulation. A ball hitting off the top of the fielders head and into the stands for a HR is the one that stands out the most.

I'm glad to see that you re-constructed your "not going to play anymore" quote, but I still don't agree with your "un-realistic" point of view. I would be ticked if it happened to my players too (I was devistated with Joe Mauer went down with a CEI in the TLB), but I wouldn't exactly call it un-realistic. There is always a chance that 2 players will go down to CEIs in consecutive months. Since there is a chance for it to happen, I'm happy to see it happening in the game.
The game is definately not "unplayable." I know I used the term "un-realistic" but these two CEI's happened 6 days apart to two AAA players. Maybe it's a string of bad luck, but a broken foot is not normally deemed a CEI in real life.
