To me, this would be a 'traditional lineup'
1. Some speed and a good OBP.
2. Not necessarily a great hitter, but someone who does not strike out a lot and puts his bat on the ball, some speed is also a plus
3. Your best overall hitter.
4. Best RBI/Power guy
5. RBI/Power guy
6. Some power nice, but not one of your better hitters
7. 2nd worst hitter
8. usually the worst hitter in the line-up
