After a couple of days of meticulously searching for and finding all the right files, last night I finally started my MLB coaching career (and being in Italy you can’t imagine how long I had been waiting for this day – only soccer here you know). A few games later, curious of how well Varitek was hitting against righties, I discovered, much to my dismay, that his lefty/righty 2003 statistics were incorrect (using CBL v2 rosters). A little depressed, I decide to quit the season, fix the rosters, and start over. Much to my surprise though, I could not figure out a way to modify those historical stats. Even with Pierre’s Utility Suite nothing doing (could not find a way to modify splits). After reading various messages on this forum, I am now starting to wonder if they matter at all!?! Is it true that only the ratings are taken into consideration when calculating a players statistics during a game (and my Varitek numbers were just a seasonal aberration)? Am I right in remembering that in past versions of this game you could edit the stats and the ratings would change as a consequence? Anyhow, is there another utility that would allow me to modify all of the stats of a player?
