Hard to get a great grade when you don't have high picks, but when you can pick up the #1 RB with a late 1st rounder (even though it's a weak RB class), that's nice. It would have been nice to get a more solid player in the 3rd round instead of a risky "project." Heck, from my perspective, they get an A+ just for avoiding doing anything undeniably stupid. The dumbest thing they're talking about now is converting Arlen Harris (5'10", 212) into a fullback.
I actually like the project in the third round. He sounds like a great fit for the defense, and he's got a chance to improve a lot. We needed a DE, and I didn't see anyone else I liked more available then.
Overall, B+ to A-.
