SIM #1
I completed the first two weeks of simming, and the results are surprising!!
Record: 4-3, 4th in AL East, 1.5 Games Back
Sim: 4-3
Roster Update:
Carl Crawford - 2 SB
Rocco Baldelli - .423 AVE
Aubrey Huff - .393 SLG
Jose Cruz - 3 RBI
Julio Lugo - .583 OPS
Aaron Boone - 4 SB
Toby Hall - .231 AVE
Rey Sanchez - 3 RBI
Starters-
1. Victor Zambrano - 1 Win
2. Damian Moss - 4.35 ERA
3. Mark Hendrickson - 1.00 ERA, CG
4. Paul Abbott - 6.00 ERA
5. Todd Ritchie - No IP
John Halama - 15.00 ERA
Al Reyes - 1 Win
Bartolome Fortunato - 3.00 ERA
Lance Carter - 1 Win
Danny Baez - 2 Saves
TEAM BATTING AVERAGE: .252
TEAM EARNED RUN AVERAGE: 5.37
Those two stats above show that obviously our team isn't running on all cylinders, so I am very happy that our team still has a 4-3 record. Our team has performed decently on offense, led by the combonation of Boone and Baldelli. We lead the majors with 10 stolen bases, so that helps out of overall production. The pitching staff was led by Moss and Hendrickson, who both had good outings, and the bullpen did good for the talent in it, except for Halama's bad outing.
Minor League Report
Damian Rolls(AAA) - Hit .414 with 8 RBI over the first two weeks of the season. Look for him to be called up to the bigs if he continues this for another 2-3 sims.
Matt Diaz(AAA) - Hit .444 with 2 HR and 6 RBI over the first two weeks. He won't be getting the call at all this season, but he should help out the AAA squad.
Delmon Young(A) - Hit .519 over the first two weeks, as was expected of the great young prospect. Look for him to be promoted soon if he continues this production.
Scott Autrey(AA) - Autrey had a horrible first start in AA. He pitched bad, and ended the game with an ERA of over 13.00. If he stuggles in his next few starts, watch to see if he is demoted to A ball.
