Last tonight, someone who's actually a little more interesting to look at and maybe not a bottom of the barrell Tomato in the truest sense.....

Birthplace: Arezzo, Italy
His career started out at 14-3-3 which was capped off by defeating Rocco Mazzola by 11th round TKO in Sept. 1958 for the Italian LIght Heavyweight Title. He lost that title though in his very next fight 3 months later in an 11th round KO by Sante Amonti. BAccheschi then lost 10 round decions to Mike Holt and Gawie de Klerk, KO'd in the 8th Plinio Scarabellin then was KO'd in 2 by Pekka Kokkonen to end his career.
Earlier career hilites were a 6 round decision win over a young Giulio Rinaldi and an 8 round draw with Uwe Janssen. He also fought 2 earlier fights with Rocco Mazzola loosing the first by 5th round KO and winning the 2nd, an 8 round decision.
