I did a search and found nothing but that doesn't mean I didn't use the right keywords. Anyway ...

Our league has a hard salary cap. Quite often, teams will have more $$ for FA than cap room. Because we cannot tell who will sign with us, we often have teams bid on players and the total of their bids far exceeds the cap room they have.

This causes a problem as they can theoretically drive up prices on FAs and then not be able to sign them. What I'd like to know is if OOTP6 has the ability to rescind offers at any time after the initial offer has been submitted.

What we would like to do is allow the Commish to rescind offers on behalf of the team that has hit their cap level. Right now, that's not possible unless they lead on a guy.

I guess people have their panties in a wad because if all those guys signed he'd be over the cap and then he'd have to cut people and the salaries would count against his expenses blah blah blah.

Anyone have any ideas?
