Every version so far has been a major improvement on the previous version, so I don't have any doubt that this one will be as well. If you want to just stick with V5 or stop playing the game completely, that's your decision. But for those of us that have been buying the game for years and have always found it well worth the price, we have no problem with saving some cash and pre-ordering. It will come out, it will be a great, deep game that will keep most of us busy throughout the baseball season (and then some).
I am just annoyed at those that are basically ticked off at the company and the game because they think it's missed it's release date. There has never been an exact date as to it's release. Just some possible time periods and a probable worst case scenario. I want the game to be out now as much as the next guy but I don't blame Markus for anything but working his ass off to put out another quality product.
As for delays in general (and as I said, this game hasn't actually been delayed), just look at other games out there...
All-Star Baseball 2005 for PS2 was pushed back a few weeks. ESPN MLB was pushed back nearly a month. That's why it's best not to put a definate date when you don't have to.
