Where do I condone racism on my website? In contrast I can point you to numerous articles available from the BBC and others about rising crimes against minority groups in the UK and elsewhere. Those things still happen in the U.S. as well, but our rate has been declining for some time. Obviously not all Europeans feel the same way, but you can't attribute anything to all Europeans anymore than you can attribute anything to all Americans. When you say Europeans or Americans think or do something, that means either a majority or a sizeable portion do. You cannot deny the facts I presented. France has passed a law banning the head-scarf, Holland has passed legislation to expel asylum seekers, and crime against minority groups has risen dramatically throughout Europe.

As for why there are anti-immigration sentiments in Europe, much of that has to do with people from outside the country draining the nation's resources by gaining access to your social services without putting money into the system. That problem was even greater back when anyone within the Commonwealth could pass into Britain and demand benefits. There is also sentiment in Britain and other parts of Europe that immigrants are responsible for rising crime rates. Satisfied? So yes, I'm familiar with the public opinion. Not only do I regularly read British newspapers online, but I was in Scotland just last summer.

Regarding your aside, xenophobia does not mean fear of everything foreign, just of some things foreign. You don't even deny the anti-immigrant movement in your country or others in Europe, and your papers testify to an increase in racist and anti-Semitic activities.

Since the thread is hijacked already, AKOleander, what did you think of ESPN College Basketball? The local Blockbuster didn't have it for rent and I didn't hear enough good things about the game to buy it, but some sounded pretty interesting.

Forgive me, but I think you're lying. I have a hard time believing that any self-professed fan of the OOTP series really wouldn't prefer to have it in hand than not, even if you still choose not to play it right away. I am very hard pressed to believe you wouldn't at least want the option.
