If I play leagues with real MLB players (which is really rare these days) I usually try to get Todd Pratt. He always hit well for me in the FPS sims and if my starting catcher got hurt, he seemed to be good for an average close to .300.

If I'm playing fictional, I just try get a guy with an interesting name.
