HOW TO FIND THE MANUAL
The manual, FYI, is in the OOTP subdirectory called "Manual." Click on the file manual.chm and you will be amazed at the wealth of questions that the manual will be able to answer for you. And there's even a search function! What could you possibly be you waiting for?
RTFM. (Read The Friendly Manual)
*************
As to the insults being tossed, consider just how big a display of bad manners and laziness it is for n00bs to ask veterans to take the time - over and over and over again - to answer exceedingly simple questions that a few moments persual of the manual would have answered. For Pete's sake, the manual even has a "Search" function built in to it. You virtually have to be a moron not to be able to find the right answer to any basic OOTP question in it.
But Reading The Friendly Manual would, of course, actually involve effort on the part of the n00bs. How much easier it is for them to come here, where people are supposed to - in fact, are even sometimes viewed as being obligated to - leap to answer their every question that two minutes spent with the manual would have answered in great detail.
