I know the policy about personal attacks on this page, and thus I will make sure this post steers clear of an attack. However, I want to make clear my reservations about this individual and warn others not to partake in his leagues, also, I am looking for a new commish for the CMJK league on behalf of the 28 abandoned owners.
Chad came on this message board seeking out league owners less than a month ago. The league filled quickly. After about a week of furious trading, and getting to know each other, sims started. We got through 3 sims, until about May 2nd in game time, before the league website ceased to exist. For awhile before that, no emails were answered, and the sim before was late, because the commissioner said he had a family emergency. Obviously nobody could be angry with that, but I'm pretty sure the entire league is offended at this point. Our league website is entirely gone (
www.cmjk.us) and nobody has heard why, although emails have been sent. A sim was scheduled for today with no word from the commish. He has abandoned us. I post this because I want to warn people that if he decides to create another league, it would be best to leave it alone.
More importantly, though, the owners in CMJK were active and put a lot of time into the league. One owner created a newspaper website for the league, and many owners contributed. All that time was for nothing if we cannot find someone to take over the commissioner's job. We need someone reliable, preferably someone that knows something about webdesign. The commish will get plenty of help from league owners, and I believe 2 or 3 teams have been vacated-- the Orioles, Padres, and Rockies if memory serves me. I for one wouldn't mind if the commish owned a team, although I cannot speak on the league's behalf. Please, someone help us out. It's a good league, we had tons of activity in the first few weeks.
