Ok,
My online league has been running for 3 real-life years and 7 in-game seasons [we started with OOTP3 and 2001 rosters]. Mark McGwire stuck around and broke the all-time HR record, ending his career with 864 HR. He played in Coors until he was forty, so I guess that will do it for ya.
Anyways, we write articles and all of the GM's are very active and we just had A-Rod hit his 500th HR and he's 32. Now, I've searched high and low on baseballreference.com and through google.com and I can't find a single place that has a list of ages of players when they hit their 500th HR. I'm assuming A-Rod is the fastest ever [at 32] and we plan to make a big deal about it in the league -- but we don't wanna look like a bunch of morons, hyping something that isn't true.
So, does anyone have a link or know where I can find a list that shows how old each player was when they reached 500 HR? Thanks a ton in advance!
