Scott,

Thanks the reply. I didn't realize that guys like McGwire and Piazza had that many infield hits. I might trying doing some counting when I get back into the game next week.

My anecdotal evidence would suggest that faster players are better at beating out potential double play balls and do got their share of infield hits.
