I did a study on the old, old board (unfortunately its lost now) that showed that OOTP was actually accurately, or even
under reflecting the number of injuries towards pitchers and in the correct proportion.

I'd say the injury frequency is still alright, albeit a bit frustrating at times. (I am the king of pitcher injuries in my online leagues (almost all my starters each year in Boys of Summer, and my Ace twice in OOL)
