Both well done.
Prefer #1 because I'm a traditionalist...eagle just a little too modern for me...but it is nice.
Not crazy about black/yellow eagle colors.
Suggestion: make the eagle RED with BLUE trim...with FREEDOM in WHITE on BLUE background.
