LAS VEGAS – The Nevada Silverhawks signed perennial All-Star and future Canadian Hall of Famer Larry Walker to a 1 year deal worth $7 million. Walker will star in Right Field, but will also play time at DH throughout the season and gives the team depth.

The ‘hawks also signed 2B Sean Burroughs to a four year deal worth $11.2 million. “The Silverhawks are putting themselves in a position to win,” said Burroughs. “I’m excited to join this club,” he said. Burroughs will compete for the second base job and will see time at third.
