LAS VEGAS – Ushering in a “new era” in Silverhawks baseball, Dark Cloud today hired former Toronto Blue Jays manager Cito Gaston as the club’s manager. Gaston led the Jays of the late 1980s and early 1990s to four division titles in five years and two World Series titles, arguably the most successful stretch of any team in recent memory, until the Yankees of the late 1990s and 2000s.

“I think it’s a real commentary that a man of his caliber didn’t get a job until now. But I’m delighted that we had the opportunity to bring him here,” said Dark Cloud.
