What you are asking for would require (I think, again I don't know these things, just making a guess from how the game seems to be architectured) would be for each season to have n+1 fields (one for each team and one for the total) so that the game could save the stats for each team the player could possibly be on. To me the net gain of breaking up the stats by team presently isn't worth the cost of the added storage space and pain of programming it too only show stats for the teams the player played on (rather than a bunch of teams with 0 listed).

In any event I suspect something like this is beyond the scope of a patch..
