Bryan Gorman is one of the best young hitters in the league. The 26 year old Yancey second baseman has led the league in hits the past two years and has a career batting average of .344. Bryan hit .607 in 28 at bats this week including a 4/5 against Denton on April 15 and is currently working on a nine game hitting streak. Surprisingly this is his first player of the week award, but probably not his last.
Longtime Northampton second baseman
James Campuzano won the award in the Hound League, hitting .478.
