I agree with the previous sentiment; the best league is the one that best fits what you are looking for. Most of these 'Best League' threads devolve into a popularity contest for leagues that have the most regular posters to this site. There are so many different types of leagues with so many different variations of each type that it would be pointless.... Even longevity isn't a really good barometer, 16 team leagues are easier to maintain than 30 team leagues, oldtimer leagues tend to draw older more patient/mature owners that tend to stick around longer etc...
