I think only one of the WEEI team picked a blowout, and people must remember that the score is sometimes deceiving when it comes to the NFL. The Pats won a number of close-score games this year, and I could probably attach the "blowout" moniker to at least a couple of them.

IMO, the NE fanbase was very excited and boisterous at about the 19th of January. I think that over-excitement quickly turned to trepidation as the game drew near, and the Red Sox fan in most of them crept up and kicked them back into reality.

I did not see the "Pats fans and some people on these boards were throwing out outrageous scores though lol", but I'm sure they existed. Just like you would see people guessing the the Yankees would win in 4 against the Fish. By comparision, wouldn't that be equal to a "blowout"?

People can "predict" whatever they want, and guess what? NEWS FLASH! Most of the time THEY'RE WRONG!

I'm "guessing" that there's a "chance" that we'll be in Jacksonville next year having this same damn discussion.
