That's exactly why my view of Holmes differs from many posters on this sight. Most of my boxing fan friends have this same opinion and when we used to watch his fights together I remember how we all used to comment. It would go something like "look at those shots this guy _______ (fill in the name) Zanon, Berbick, Snipes, Evangelista etc. is getting in, Holmes looks lost, this bum is gonna beat him". Of course Holmes would eventually get a shot in and turn the tide. I understand why if you look at Holmes' record he looks great because all those fights went down as victories, but I remember the lost look on his face during those fights while he was making bums look great.
There I go again jumping all over poor Larry. Yeah poor Larry as I'm shleping off to work everyday from 9-5 while he lays back in his mansion.
