With the formation of the new base ball league, the Professional American Baseball Association, this rag-tag lot of pastime "fanatics" has decided to form this peroidical. In our pages you will find scores, statistics, and articles writen by our expert (we use the term lightly) writers. With every issue, we mean to immerse you in the splendor of base ball.

PABA: Important Facts, Tidbits, and Other Useful Information

As the first ever PABA season approaches, here is a list of items that every crank needs to know.

Teams play a 30 game league schedule
The elite players in each league will be rewarded.

Best Batter- Most Valuable Player Award (MVP).
Best Pitcher- Pitcher of the Year Award.
Top 1st Year Player- Outstanding Newcomer Award.
Top fielder at each position- Fielder of the Year Award

The league will start with an intial draft, and will hold a draft each winter for new players.
Teams will have the ability to mantain rights to a player while he is playing in another "minor" league.
