Good question. Believe it or not, Coors Field is the largest park in the majors, which helps out with extra-base hits more than you might realize. The thin air helps carry the ball, so there are more home runs. In addition, pitchers balls don't break as much because there is less air hitting the seams(which gives birth to the different pitches) so the hitters can hack away more easily. However, believe it or not, stolen bases are up at Coors Field as well, and if the answer to that isn't simply that more runners are getting on base, I have no explaination for it.
