Let me give you my read on those fighters.
Zech,- record was based primarily on German tomato cans, anytime he stepped up above the Joe Bygraves, Albert Westphal level he lost. Also he he lost to Dave Bailey. I would give him a 2 because of the weakness of competition he beat. Also a contemporary who fared like he did was Jurgen Blin who was rated a two by the game. Blin went 2-0-2 against Zech.
Beattie- I rated him a 2 because he lost against James J. Woody twice and his resume is spotty. Did beat Wipperman three times and also beat shop worn Alonzo Johnson and Tom Mcneeley. I understand you giving him a 3, it is either a 2 or 3 for Beattie.
Davis- I rated him a high 1. He didn't beat anyone of quality except John Riggins who was nearly a shot fighter. A low 2 is not a bad rating though.
Prescott- Lost to end Joe Erskine who was rated a two by the game. Erskine should be raised to a 3 or 4 by the way. Never really beat anyone of note except a split against Billy Walker, I couldn't give him higher than a 2. He reminds me of Zech, but British.
I am going to put up Eduardo Corletti and Roy (Tiger) Williams in the near future. Keep up the good work.
