Orrie: I've never seen my talent increase beyond 100, but once it is at 100, your equipment can push it over. I'm current 106 in defence because of this. I have no idea if talent increases beyond are possible (I doubt it; the coloured bars don't go any farther), but your abilities certainly aren't capped there.

bigcat: specifically, no. I just picked a bunch of seeminly appropriate exercises, and it seems to be working. At this point, experimentation seems to be the only way to find out...
