After reading this post, I changed the workout routine for my 35 year old player. His power rating jumped from 80 to 90 after about 5 months. So there's hope for the old guys!
Edit: Just turned 36, and got another 10 point power increase. 2 months later, got a 10 contact increase and a week later a 10 gap increase. I hope to play till I'm 88 years old.
