Sunshine Tidings "Bleeding Caps"
Sunshine Tidings owner Talia McGovern announced that her small farm community and a lack of success have her "bleeding caps."
"There's no more money here," McGovern said. "With the trains running and no train station nearby, we cannot compete with other settlements."
The Chemists are still alive in the playoff race, but McGovern has indicated that the team has to offload some of its upper-level players since they are paid more caps. The CBO pay system is directly tied to OSA Scouting Reports.
"I am open to sell. I need some money in my senior years. Owning this team is not doing that for me."
Trade Deadline Nears
The trade deadline is this Saturday, and there are a few named players already on the move. We will update those trades in next Monday's update, but we can now tell you some teams looking to build in the future and those seeking a Sole Survivor Series championship in 2320.

The quest for the Boston Minor Union Boston Minor Series championship gets underway today. The regular season is now over and the so-called "second season" begins. For fan and player alike this is the sweetest part of the season -- the Association Finals. The baseball experts have made their predictions, but teams will do it or die on the diamond. The best team doesn't always win -- sometimes it's the lucky team that is fated to win the crown -- sometimes it's the team that gets hot late in the season that wins -- and sometimes talent wins out and takes the glory. The winner will be one of these teams:
Finch Farm Four Leafs vs Clifton Vertibirds and Meriden Attack Dogs vs Rockland Snipers.

Get ready for some baseball! The playoffs are here! For those clubs fortunate enough to make the postseason, baseball's second season is just beginning. But for the majority of players and teams, today is the first day of a long offseason. Clubs in the playoffs have begun preparation for their upcoming showdowns to determine the 2320 Greater Boston Rookie League champions. The best teams will go at it "tooth and nail" for the Round 2 crown and it all gets started in just a few days.
From spring training to the last out of the regular season, it has been the goal of every GM, team, manager and player to reach the Greater Boston Rookie League playoffs. They all aspire to win baseball's Holy Grail, the Round 2 title. Now, for the elite teams, the first steps of that journey begin in earnest with the Round 1 starting today. The opening playoff series will pit these teams against one another:
Abernathy Adamantium vs Dalton Farm Fog Crawlers and Cherry Ghoulrillas vs Trumbull Glow Sox.
