I've played enough 27 at this point to throw a little bit of feedback out there I suppose.
Yes, wayyyyyy too many infield hits. The graphics seem pretty choppy this year. It's not that big of a deal to me. I don't buy this game for the graphics. But if I'm offering an honest opinion, yes - they are choppy. Outfielders are running through the wall and into the bleachers. The flight path of pop ups and fly balls at times seems really weird, like it moves in slow-mo and then all of a sudden moves real fast.
There's still a lot to be desired when it comes to throws from outfielders going to home plate and allowing the other runners to advance, when the throws should have been cut off to prevent runner advancement --- but that's been like that for a while. I live with it.
There's definitely an issue with guys who have played for multiple teams having their in-game face gen file switch back and forth between the team they currently play for and a team they played for previously.... I haven't found any rhyme or reason with this. It just seems if a guy gets 5 at-bats in a game, 3 of the times he comes up to bat it will be the correct face gen and the other 2 times will be a face gen of a previous team.... It's not a huge issue, but a definite annoyance.
Short of that though, I think it's pretty darn good. No crashes yet on my end and no issues with my computer slowing down either (I know some have reported that). Seems to run smooth. The excessive number of 5 star prospects (with 99% of them immediately turning into 1 star prospects) seems to be fixed. Engine seems to be every bit as good as the last version that I played ('25), if not maybe even a little better....... All in all, I'm happy. But if the devs are bored and looking to tweak a few things on the next patch, listed above would be my issues right now.
