Plus the Pirates have to have Max "Scoops" Carey, for hitting, stolen bases, and defense here, at least. Which then knocks out McCutchen, by logical extension here. If I were the Pirates, I'd take Clemente, the Waners, Kiner, and Carey, at the least, I think, in the outfield. I'd go with two-thirds of the roster being bats, and the other third as pitchers, it seems to me, for any of these teams' rosters, at least generally speaking. But this isn't my scenario, obviously.
