If by MLB ready, we mean R.J. Long is a backup who plays once a week, typically on Sundays, then yes MLB ready. Or he could platoon vs Lefties depending on how J.D. Gonzalez looks.
Let him develop another year to hopefully that Power potential, the 20-30 HR will be worth whatever other woes he brings. Also, 20 games isnt a great sample size to label him as a detriment to the team and pitchers.
