Twitch Drops tracking inconsistency (multi-account setup) – looking for confirmation/possible UX gap
Hi all,
I wanted to raise an issue I’ve been running into consistently with Twitch Drops tracking in Perfect Team, and see if others are experiencing the same thing.
Setup:
* 2 Perfect Team accounts (separate teams)
* 2 Twitch accounts
* 2 different browsers (one per account)
* Watching a known Drops-enabled stream (e.g. ShawnCurtis430)
Issue:
Even with everything set up “correctly,” Drops tracking frequently does not initialize properly. Typical symptoms include:
* Current campaign does not appear in Twitch Drops Inventory at all
* OOTP “Drops & Rewards” page shows as logged in, but no progress is tracked
* Previously completed or inactive campaigns still display normally
* No clear error message indicating what’s wrong
To get Drops to start tracking, I often have to:
* log out/in of Twitch and/or OOTP multiple times
* reconnect the Twitch ↔ OOTP link
* restart streams or switch streams
* repeat this process for ~15–30 minutes until it “sticks”
Eventually it works, but the process is inconsistent and not predictable.
Observations:
This seems more likely when running multiple accounts, but I’ve seen it with a single account as well
There are no obvious error messages, so from a system perspective everything appears “fine”
Once tracking starts, it generally remains stable
Question for others:
Are others seeing similar behavior with Drops not initializing or campaigns not appearing?
Especially those running multiple PT teams or Twitch accounts?
Suggestion (if this is a known edge case):
It might help to have:
clearer status messaging (e.g. “No active campaign detected” vs. blank state)
or a simple “Reset Drops Connection” option to force a clean relink
Not trying to complain—just trying to understand whether this is a broader issue and if there’s a more reliable setup or workflow.
Thanks!
PS: “If others are seeing this, even occasionally, it might help to compare setups (single vs multi-account, browser differences, etc.)”
