I'm not able to reproduce this, can I confirm it's the slider in the Global settings > Trading Ai Settings > Trading Preference?
Do you mean if you adjust that slider, then go to another tab and then back, it'll be set all the way towards favor veterans? Or do you need to advance a day or something for it to get set like that?
