Arising at some point in the first half of the 20th century, here is my project. The idea is that the larger/more successful teams from the
precursor leagues joined together to form a pan-Caribbean league. The league logo has evolved from my PR-RD League logo (two diamonds) to have a third diamond for Venezuela/ South America.
Most of them have future logos and some change identities. The following would be the "vintage" logos/names/identities.
How you can arrange this league/ use these teams:
You just want four expansion teams? Havana, Santo Domingo, San Juan, and Caracas
Have 8 AL teams and 8 NL teams and want to add an 8 team CL (and say 8 Pacific League teams)? You could go with Havana, Camaguey, SDC, Santo Domingo, Santiago de los Caballeros, San Juan, Ponce, and Panama or Caracas in a historical game
Want a 12 team major league to replace the Japanese [League Redacted]? I would do Havana, Camaguey, SDC, Santo Domingo, Santiago de los Caballeros, San Juan, Panama, Caracas, Zulia, Barranquilla and two of San Pedro de Macoris, Ponce or Valencia. For me Willemstad, Cartagena and Managua are pretty clearly last on the list/expansion teams.
They divide into eight North/Island Division teams and eight South/continental Division teams, from left to right:
Havana, Camaguey, SDC, Santiago de los Caballeros, Santo Domingo, San Pedro de Macoris, Ponce, San Juan
Managua, Panama, Cartagena, Barranquilla, Zulia, Willemstad, Valencia, Caracas
team logos to follow, and some even have uniforms
I'd like to thank tehsugi for taking an early look at this project, and giving me some advice. It's also inspired by his Japanese league as well as lbl_brendan's and tm1681's incredible work.
hate that I have to say this but no ai was used in this or any of my projects
