I should share a few things about the beta.
Online League Test Season- Hoping to run it in OOTP 27, so must have a copy to participate (I might run a quick follow up in v26 and possibly v25 also to test backward compatibility, but that is tbd)
- This will be just a super simple season, just a 30-40 game season (4-8 sims in the game).
- Minimal OOTP in-game effort needed. Adjust rosters. Move people on/off DL.
- IMPORTANT - Export team update before each sim.
- Goals are to:
- Assure League File exports work, are complete and accessible to all game members on the site.
- Assure team exports work and post to server
- Test export tracking works and is correct
- Test League Commish (me) can import team exports and run subsequent sims
- Verify HTML reports work, update after each sim and all links in the site to them work as expected
- Test the social newsfeed features work correctly in the members only and public game spaces
Fantasy League Testing- NO OOTP game required! Can simply join the site, select a league and team and play fantasy!
- There'will be a fantasy draft to participate in (they are run offline via email but we'll coordinate via Discord).
- Draft pick trading is ALLOWED and can be tested.
- Make roster moves before each sim. Add/Drop make players active, etc.
- Can propose and make player trades
- Verify sim processing works correctly
- Test playoff setting work for head to head leagues
