From my simming multiple MLB seasons 2026 (10 times 1 season only) and 3-8 years (3-4 times) with high realistic injuries, the AI really struggled with it. Attempting to keep moving players up and down to cover, they get locked in with the 5 up/down rule, or simply keep releasing players to sign another player to fill for an injured player. Some days, the transaction lines for 1 team were 12-16 lines long.
With the AI releasing players with high contracts, eventually they run out of money, limiting what they can actually do to fill positions so here come the minor leagues on a revolving door of moves. I've seen the AI release 10 minimum salary player in one season. ~8M wasted paying them off.
Please continue to provide feedback here on your league. I'm interested in reading about it and your tails from it.
