A few contract and roster issues I've come across:
-Alexander Albertus is a free agent in the game but is still in the White Sox org in real life (
https://www.milb.com/player/alexander-albertus-800316)
All contract info from Spotrac
-Joe Ryan's 2027 contract in the game is a team option with a $0 buyout. In real life, this is a $100,000 buyout, and is a mutual option (so should have an opt out after 2026)
-Josh Bell's 2027 option in the game is a team option with no buyout. In real life it is a mutual option (needs opt-out added) with a $1.25m buyout
-Victor Caratini's 2028 contract in the game is listed as a team option with no buyout. In rea life, this is a mutual option (needs player opt out added after 2027) with a $3.5m buyout
-Lourdes Gurriel's 2027 team option has a $0 buyout in the game. In real life, this is a $5m buyout
-Michael Soroka's 2027 contract in the game is $0 buyout and team option only. It is actually a mutual option with a $1m buyout
-Jeffrey Springs has a $0 buyout on his team option in 2027. In real life this is a $750,000 option
-Jeff McNeil's 2027 option is a $0 buyout in the game. In real life, this is a $2m buyout
I've actually yet to come across an option year in the game that is accurate to real life. I can keep going through these if helpful, but it appears options years need a full edit.
