Somehow my 98 win team doesn't get any such randomness when getting stomped 4-1 by a 110 win team.
This league has an 87-75 playing an 82-80 in the WS, which would both be at or near the top of worst World Series winners in baseball history.
Yeah this is my third and last edition of OOTP. The randomness is just such nonsense. Essentially, if I can't ever correlate inputs to outputs in gameplay, why am I even playing?

I already know, if i have over 100 wins, a division winner, or the best record in my league, that im getting knocked out in the LDS. Its insanity. And im not joking. Its total annoyance. But when i barely make the playoffs, the 100 win, 1st place teams, with the best record in the entire league go undefeated in the postseason. It makes no sense trying to put a roster together It means absolutely nothing. Its all luck.
