A proposal that's perhaps a bit strange, and is almost entirely motivated by me selling my early-mission Brooks Robinson card a week before it became part of a new mission and is now extremely difficult to get:
A pawnshop. Need some quick cash and have a card that no one's got a good buy order for? Instead of quickselling it and having the card disappear forever into the ether, pawn it. You get the quicksell value, and then you can buy the card back later for a slightly higher price.
