A 3-game losing streak ended the next 10 games with a 6-4 record and our lead has grown to 9 over the Expos who have really been struggling.
Paul Wilson is an interesting case. He's been a top 100-150 prospect for a few years, but never really had a great season coming up. He had 2 years at AA where his ERA+ went from 87 to 97, then 2 years at AAA where it went from 105 to 107, so he improved each year, but not an ace by any means. But so far this year, he's gone 6-4 with a 3.15 ERA in 21 appearances and 17 starts and an ERA+ of 140. He's done this in a year where the rookie crop isn't great, he was just the Rookie of the Month for June, so he has a chance to win it for sure.
