It appears that the universe is stable as long as I don't import tbdx files into it.

I'm in the process of simulating a new universe from scratch, about 3 to 5 years worth of bouts to have some history before introducing historical boxers. I'll need to create new fighters from scratch and manually set their ratings to match the historical fighters to avoid the problems I've been having.

I've also been working on making the spreadsheet rankings provide more information (nationality and results of last 5 bouts) in an automated fashion.

Here's a preview of what that looks like after a year and 8 months completed:
