6 GAMES LEFT TO PLAY
  • Boston and Philadelphia are tied atop the AL East with Staten Island 4 GB.
  • Chicago leads Dallas by 3 games in the AL Central.
  • Wyoming clinched the AL West.
  • Cleveland is 1 game up on Charlotte and 4 on Columbus in the AL's Southern division.
  • In the NL Washington is 4 games up on New York in the East.
  • Chicago has clinched the Central
  • San Francisco is 3 games up on LA and 5 on Fresno with the Bears at least clinching a post-season berth.
  • Jacksonville clinched the NL South.
  • Carlo Ambrogi will win the AL batting title as he's hitting .369 to 2nd place Andrew King (UT) .320.
  • Zach Stewart will win another HR title with 56.
  • In the NL Gus Garcia leads New York's Sean Kramer .344 to .335.
  • Luis Corona has 56 HR's, leading Bill Brumfield by 8.
  • San Diego's Juan Laurel has 22 wins, leading Eric Davis (LA) and his 19, 278 K's to Zach Mcmillion's 236 and a 2.47 ERA to Eric Davis' 2.48 as he tries to win just the 2nd pitching triple crown, and his 4th Koufax award.
  • The playoff rotation will be on 85 pitch limits to use this last start as a short tune-up and rest outing.
  • Likely go Merera, Avendano, Morris, Bush for the opening series.
  • All the position players will be getting spelled all week. Either mid game or getting young guys starts.
  • The Hitmen got bad news as 21 year old Sid Woodward (8-7 3.65) went down and will need shoulder surgery. Their 2012 1st rounder (7th overall) was a key piece to the team that is about to clinch their division, being 3 up with 3 to play.
